How does it work? Through a combination of technologies including biometrics, encryption, ciphering, and blockchain. First, cutting-edge biometric encryption is used to encrypt data captured from an official document belonging to the user. Verifying the user’s identity guarantees authenticity and prevents forgeries. The captured data is automatically encrypted so that no one — not even us — has access to its content. Further use of your device then allows us to perform a series of daily tests that we compare with your encrypted identity. This allows users to demonstrate their physical presence in a country or region at specific times, providing solid proof for legal, tax, or administrative purposes. We won’t bother you in your day-to-day life. Randomly, during your day, the application will request authentication from your phone, which is provided automatically. It also detects location changes and other types of events that allow us to guarantee your identity at relevant points in your timeline. This provides confirmation that the user is who they claim to be, and in the location provided. Although the underlying technology that supports the process is quite complex, the design emphasis is squarely on usability, and the result is a very intuitive, easy to use app. The process is carried out simply by unlocking and looking at the phone to validate your identity.
Do you need to prove your location at a specific time and place? Don’t worry, you can do it any time at the press of a button. You can add images, files, videos. You can create alerts for maximum days in specific zones. You also have full control over privacy, with the option to establish ‘total privacy’ time ranges, and much more.
Additionally, each record has a ‘timestamp’, providing an unalterable proof of time down to the hour, minute, and second.
Another powerful tool provided by the app is exportable and customizable reports. Your trusted legal or tax professional can configure the reports according to your needs, without manipulating the data nor breaking its legal effects before third parties. With these reports, you can compare periods to determine compliance with, for example, the SRT (Statutory Residence Test), or Residency Test or Green Card Test.
